My paintings highlight the beauty that a touch of colour brings to a canvas. I focus on showcasing the subtle innocence and the element of truth through my subjects. Art is creation and retention of the viewer's attention, which is what I aspire to do. As much as we strive for the black and white life, as humans we'll always be a whole range of colours. I believe that we are all nothing but a million shades of divinity that is both bold and bright in the canvas of life.
Yuvraj Patil, who is from Kohlapur, has completed his Foundation Diploma and Art Teacher Diploma from Kalaniketan Mahavidyalaya, Kolhapur, G.D. Art Diploma (Drawing & Painting) from Dalavi's Art Institute, Kolhapur and Diploma in Art Education from Bharati Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune. He is famous for his landscapes, semi-abstract, abstract, still life and figurative paintings. He held his first solo show in Hirji Art gallery, Mumbai (2013). He has also held several group shows in Mumbai, Kohlapur, Ahmedabad and Goa. The artist's wonderful work is avidly collected in India and abroad.
